TAP 2023-24 Academic Year Closeout – Second Notice & Timeline

HESC is in the final phase of closing out the 2023-24 academic year. Schools are urged to take the necessary steps to complete outstanding award certifications and reconcile any certification errors before the deadlines listed below.

Key Deadlines

March 24, 2025 – Last day to request 2023-24 school code changes.
April 1, 2025 – Final 2023-24 Payment Roster issued.
May 30, 2025 – Final day to submit certifications and correct errors.
June 2025 – HESC closeout processing begins, including the release of the final Student Status List, Remittance Advice, and Excelsior/ETA Manifest (specific dates will be posted in the June TAP Processing Schedule).

Certification & Reconciliation Requirements

Per HESC’s policies and procedures, schools must certify awards within:

60 days from the date a roster was issued, or
30 days from the end of the term - whichever is later.

Any certifications that remain pending or in error status after the closeout deadline will be decertified.
