One of the nation's largest need-based college financial aid grant programs. Available for students attending full-time, part-time and in non-degree programs.

Tuition Award for part-time students attending SUNY, CUNY and not-for-profit independent degree-granting colleges.

Tuition award for part-time students enrolled in eligible non-degree workforce credential programs at participating SUNY & CUNY colleges.

Enables students from families earning $125,000 or less per year to attend a state-operated SUNY or CUNY college tuition-free.

Provides students from families earning $125,000 or less to receive up to $6,000 toward tuition costs at participating NYS private colleges.

Provides tuition awards for students graduating in the top 10% of their class who attend SUNY or CUNY and are pursuing a degree in a STEM field.

Tuition award for part-time students in an approved undergraduate program at participating NYS participating colleges.

Tuition award that covers up to the cost of six credits for students attending a SUNY or CUNY community college part-time.

Scholarships for registered nurses licensed to practice in NYS enrolled in a graduate program that leads to a career of nursing or adjunct clinical faculty.

Scholarships for undergraduate or graduate students pursuing careers as math and science teachers in secondary education.

Provides top graduating NYS high school students with scholarships to attend college in New York State.

Scholarships for employees of NY State-licensed child welfare not-for-profit agencies to pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree.

Tuition awards for students pursuing a master's degree in education at SUNY or CUNY full-time.

Tuition Award for Vietnam, Persian Gulf, Afghanistan, or other eligible combat veterans.

Scholarships for students whose parent served in the U.S. Armed Forces during specified times of war or national emergency.

Scholarships for children, spouses, and financial dependents of members of the United States Armed Forces or state-organized militia who died or became disabled performing their military duties.

Scholarship for children, spouses and financial dependents of individuals killed as a direct result of the crash of Continental Airlines Flight 3407 in Clarence, New York on February 12, 2009.

Scholarship for children, spouses, and financial dependents of innocent victims who died or were severely and permanently disabled as a result of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States of America - at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and on airline flights 11, 77, 93, and 175 - and the resulting rescue and recovery efforts.

Scholarship for children, spouses and financial dependents of deceased firefighters, volunteer firefighters, police officers, peace officers (including NYS Correction Officers), and emergency medical service workers who have died as the result of injuries sustained in the line of duty in service to the State of New York.

Grant for enrolled members of a New York State tribe or their children.

Education award for NYS residents who successfully complete a term of service with an approved AmeriCorps program.
