Dear Bursars and TAP Certification Officers,

This week, HESC will begin releasing the 20% of grant and scholarship award payments which were temporarily withheld due to COVID19. These payments will be processed in the order the original payments were created beginning with run date April 8, 2020. These will be fully paid by March 31, 2021.

Business office staff with access to the Statewide Financial System (SFS) will be able to identify these payments using the assigned invoice number. The invoice number will be the same as the original payment with "COVDE" at the end. Below is an example for your reference:

Original Invoice No: 0895 419 010 00 REF12047

Withhold Invoice No: 0895 419 010 00 REF12047 COVDE

HESC is also working with SUNY System Administration to transfer these funds to them for their distribution to affected schools by March 31, 2021.
