Resending Excelsior 2018 Applicants for Credit Verification

Some Spring 2018 Excelsior Scholarship applicants may have been wrongly denied because their credit verification data provided on the HE8838 was incomplete. For credit verification, you must provide all credits including the Fall 2017 credits or, if not yet available, a pending status must be indicated.

HESC will soon send a new HE8838 file of students who have been denied through the credit verification process. Please update it with all credits earned during Fall 2017 or indicate a pending Fall 2017 term, and return to HESC.

To access these new layouts, click on Forms and Bulletins in HESCweb Transaction Processing. After entering your user ID and password, click on TAP School EFAN Layouts/Message Codes.
