Temporary Suspension of Excelsior Scholarship and ETA Certification

Dear Colleagues,

Due to a technical problem, HESC is temporarily suspending all Excelsior Scholarship and Enhanced Tuition Awards (ETA) certification processing. We are working with the NYS Office for Information Technology Services to resolve the issue by next Friday, June 15, 2018 and will notify you when it is rectified.

The problem is causing reporting errors on Excelsior and ETA Term Payment Accounting Reports, found in the PAYDOCS link of the Reports section on HESCWeb Transaction Processing generated on or after May 12, 2018 for the 2017-18 academic year for schools that submitted Excelsior or ETA certifications for this spring term.

Schools may continue to submit certifications but they will not be processed until after the issue is resolved.
