Non-alpha-numeric characters in Student ID format

Dear Colleague,

HESC is now developing parameters for the students’ submission of their student IDs. The format will restrict the types of characters allowed, so we want to make sure we allow for letters, numbers and any non-alpha-numeric characters (@,– , #, *) schools use in their formats.

If your student ID format includes ONLY numeric or alpha numeric characters, no action is required.
