| Intersessions | Some institutions offer a short term between regular semesters, such as a one-month winter session between the fall and spring semesters. Free-standing intersessions are ineligible for State student aid unless the term is formally linked to either the fall or spring semester to form a “simulated semester” for financial aid purposes.
