Your Students’ Families Can Benefit from New York’s Landmark Paid Family Leave

New York State's Paid Family Leave provides New Yorkers with job-protected, paid leave to bond with a new child, care for a loved one with a serious health condition or to help relieve family pressures when someone is called to active military service abroad.

If you know of a student whose family is experiencing a military deployment or a serious illness, please let them know that under Paid Family Leave, they can now request Paid Family Leave to care for their families and maintain their economic security.
