College Application Month

New York's College Application Month (CAM) is October 2023!

The national CAM campaign focuses on assisting students who are the first in their families to attend college, from low-income families, or may not have otherwise seriously considered applying to college, apply to at least one postsecondary institution.

New York State is proud to participate in the national College Application Month, part of the American College Application Campaign, an effort of ACT’s Center for Equity in Learning, to increase the number of first-generation students and students from low-income backgrounds who pursue a postsecondary education.

Special note to New York City public and charter schools: no need to register! The NYS DOE has taken care of this for you!
