Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant
A Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) is a grant for undergraduate students with exceptional financial need.
Students who receive Federal Pell Grants and have the most financial need will receive FSEOGs first. FSEOGs are awarded by a college's financial aid office based on information in the FAFSA.
Students can receive between $100 and $4,000 a year, depending on:
- Financial need
- When you apply
- Amount of other aid you receive
- Availability of funds at your school
