December - February Start talking with friends and family about college, and what it's like. It's just one of the ways to start establishing support systems. Start looking at college websites to start learning about colleges! Find the college that best fits you. March - May Start thinking about courses for next year and meet with your counselor to plan next year's schedule. Be sure to ask the right questions. Think about what you'll do this summer. Consider an internship, job, volunteer position or join a summer program. Do more with your summer. June - August Make time to visit colleges near you to get a feel for them.
