HESC will start producing 2019-20 Summer and Fall rosters, process certification and issuing RAs beginning the week of October 15th. The rosters and remittance advices will contain Student College IDs and will no longer include student SSNs. Please use the new record layouts (with an effective date of 10/28/19) provided on the HESC website, which include Student IDs and no SSNs, for your return files.

As previously announced, any reports or files beginning with the Fall 2019 term and any subsequent terms going forward must contain Student College IDs rather than SSNs. If you have not yet provided the Student College IDs for your students, please send the information as soon as possible. HESC will not be able to provide information or send requests for information for Fall term recipients if we have not received a Student College ID. Please use the file layouts available on the HESC website to pull in the request for the College Student Id and the return file providing HESC with the information requested.

The APTS file layouts programming changes have not been finalized using Student College IDs. Therefore, at this time, HESC will not be able to accept any APTS recipient lists for the 2019-20 academic year. Once the effective date has been determined, notification will be sent out to the schools.
